1,284 miles, big chop, give up, OH MY!

After an amazing homeschool career, I finally graduated my last homeschooler and can offically focus on business. I pack up the van and my daughter and I start our 1,284 mile drive from Arizona to Missouri, but along the way let's make it memorable. Arlington TX is the memory that I'll never forget. I decided to go to Flourish Curls Salon and chop all my hair off because hey, a new look is in order for this newly retired homeschool mama who is about to crush all her business goals. Cue tears and hashtag regrets...this new look was a hard pill for me to swallow. I've never had short hair before and I did not realize how much work it acutally took to style short hair. Earrings, wraps, cute wardrobe was a must to boost my self-esteem. Business events were around the corner, so I had to wipe my tears and get to work! I flew to New Jersey for business, one event went "ok" and the other was an epic fail. No profit and lots of loss. When I arrived home I felt defeated, depleted, and I contemplated giving up. Thoughts of dissolving my business filled my head.

But God is soooo amazing...

As I laid on the air mattress/floor I noticed a pile of feedback papers from my event that went well. I began to read the words of the guests and my heart melted and I began to praise God because I needed to read that...He knew just what I needed...the ram in the bush.
